Chelsea look to stay unbeaten in Premier League action today against Stoke before the club’s biggest week of the schedule.
Chelsea will be at home later in the week, when they are visited by Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of Champions League action. Guus Hiddink had his team organized and ready to play in Paris, but the squad were simply outmatched by Ibrahimovic and PSG. Chelsea will end the week on the road, visiting Everton on Sunday in the FA Cup quarterfinals.
With the schedule ahead, expect to see Hiddink makes some changes to the lineup for today, including resting Diego Costa. Chelsea have long been out of the title race, but a win today would raise them level with Stoke at 42 points, opening the door for possible Europa League qualification. Stoke City have won three straight league fixtures before heading to Stamford Bridge today, but Mark Hughes’ club is dealing with a mountain of injuries.
